Jordan began throwing in the spring of 2008 and in that short time Jordan
has won three provincial gold medals, one in shotput and two in discus and
has competed at the World Youth Track and Field championships in Italy where
he finished 13th in discus after just 15 months of throwing. Jordan has won
two age group national titles (shot and disc) and is the Canadian record
holder for age 16 discus. One of the highlights of the 2009 season was
breaking the provincial high school championship discus record by 36 feet.
